Rugged, reliable stops and indexers are essential to control the movement of the gravity-driven eRail Monorail system. eRail’s unmatched stops and indexers are engineered for strength. Stops use a steel pin that is pneumatically pushed through a sleeve in the eRail Monorail to stop the trolley. Backstop devices capture the trolley after it hits the pin. To prevent wheel damage, stops only make contact with the body or the frame of a trolley, never the wheel. Indexers are designed to control two slings, with one or two trolleys each, and provide the metering control required in automated systems.

Actuation of the stops and indexers can be accomplished through manual or solenoid operator valves. Optional sensors can signal the presence of a trolley. With eVue, Kannegiesser ETECH’s industry-leading laundry management software, total automation is possible.
