To emphasize the "Power of Technology" at the booth, a combination of machines and models have been produced specifically for the exhibition. The setting was underlined by a huge photographic mural (20 m long and 4.40 m high), with which the exhibits were perfectly integrated in the laundry process.
We displayed a full size model of the KannegiesserPowerTrans PLUS Tunnel washer with the clearly laid out cockpit tank system, loading chute, drive system, and the first compartment. Furthermore the functioning control panel and the display screen with Chinese characters were presented. This enabled us to talk to customers about the key features of our technology including the safe and reliable spoon transfer as well as the dry transfer into the rinse zone.
In order to let our customers see the functions and parts which are normally not visible, we displayed a model of our extraction press PowerPress. The focus here was on the powerful hydraulics and solid stainless steel punch.
Kannegiesser also manufactured an eye level version of thePowerDry.II. Due to continuously measuring of linen temperature with InfraTouch, together with supply air and exhaust air temperature, the optimal process adjustment will be realized. The result is a maximum air circulation rate and an ideal distribution of the linen in the inner cylinder. In addition a low height lift shuttle conveyor was shown to demonstrate the strength of the lift column and dry high speed lifting mechanism.
One of the most popular models Kannegiesser exhibited was the HPM.II heating band ironer completely made of stainless steel. Its highly flexible adaptation to the roll diameter ensures a consistent alignment and enhanced efficiency. This step marked a revolution in the construction of ironers, as the Kannegiesser solution allows higher productive capacity in a smaller machine 'footprint'.
Another machine that created a lot of interest, was the Kannegiesser EMX Feeding machine. This two station corner less feeding machine was permanently shown feeding sheets with two operators capable of feeding up to 1200 items per hour of single, double, and king size sheets. From time to time the small piece feeding mode was used to show the versatility of the machine.
The final machine Kannegiesser displayed was the Multistar ironer CM, a single roll with a diameter of 800mm and a working width of 2.5m designed for high quality table linen for lower volume requirements. Its design is based on the latest developments in the field of ironing technology. In addition the return to feed option is ideal for applications in hotel laundries, and care homes, and smaller laundries.
When walking around the show it was visible that there was a clear move by Chinese Professional Laundry Companies towards more automation. In the last show there were a lot of manufacturers showing washer extractors, conventional dryers, flatwork Ironers and folders. This time there were many local Chinese manufacturers, alongside the European and American manufacturers, showing complete tunnel wash systems, with extraction presses and pass through dryers as well as three station sheet and duvet feeding machines connected to folding machines as working examples.
All in all the Texcare Asia 2013 was a great success for visitors and the whole Kannegiesser team. Sounded preparation, state-of-the-art equipment and effective discussions confirmed Kannegiesser once again as "The Leader in Laundry Technology".
